Ball Bearing Wooden Rolling Pin
Rolling pin is a cylindrical food preparation utensil used to shape and flatten dough. There are two styles rolling pins could be found: rod and roller.
Rod: also known as “french rolling pin”, thin rods typically made of wood around 2–3 cm in diameter. Users rolling it on the dough with their palm.
Roller: consists of a thick heavy roller made of a variety of materials around 7–10 cm in diameter with thinner handles which extend through the roller.
Rolling pins could be made of lots of materials, such as glass, ceramic, acrylic, bakelite, copper, brass, aluminium, silicone, wood, stainless steel, marble or plastic. Most of them have plain rolling surface, but some of them has special textured for special breads and pancakes.
